Tema Youth Choir, Ghana
Founded in November 2001 under the direction of Mr. Ebenezer A. Allotey, TYC is one of Ghana’s most influential and long-standing choral groups. Supported by a dedicated Board of Directors, Executive Patrons and Patronesses, it has grown into one of Ghana’s most respected Christian community youth choirs.
Its repertoire blends African/Ghanaian and Western Christian traditions — contemporary arrangements of Ghanaian folk songs, bi-musical choral productions, African classics, Western harmony and patriotic songs — making it a choir of choice for religious, corporate, national and social events.
